ACS, an automation integration supplier, worked collaboratively with our client to design and manufacture a complete material handling and machine automation system, integrated with their product quality inspection test machine. This enabled our client to provide a complete product quality inspection system to their end-use customer.
The material handling and machine automation system provided by ACS consists of an infeed area, outfeed area, and transition areas on either side of the client’s production quality inspection (scanning) machine for handling rescan, calibration and failed product.
Infeed Section: Six identical frame assemblies contain all the material handling hardware for loading the product into the scanning channels. All rescan and calibration products are stored automatically on the infeed side of the machine. The calibration products are stored with half on the A side and the other half on the B side with the ability to automatically run all calibration products on both the A and B sides.
Outfeed Section: Six identical frame assemblies contain all the material handling hardware to sort products as they exit the scanning channels. All good product is automatically sorted to a queue for manual offloading. Failed, rescan and calibration product is automatically sorted accordingly.
Design, engineering, manufacturing and assembly, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) of two complete material handling machine automation systems integrated with client production quality machine.
